Discussion Assignment 2

Last week the discussion focused on the theological definitions of the concepts of shepherd and slave.

This discussion will focus attention on tracing the shepherd and slave motifs throughout Scripture. The goal of this discussion is to be able to explain the biblical foundation of the both “shepherd” and “slave.” (Next week the discussion will focus on the application of this understanding to the life of the leader.)

For the initial post, each student must provide a biblical overview of either the shepherd motif or the slave motif by tracing the concept throughout Scripture. Both Old Testament and New Testament examples must be provided.
