System Design
The system design consists of several important main components that are required to design a stand-alone AC-DC nano grid based on the question. The system consists of solar panels as renewable energy source, boost converter as DC-DC converter, DC loads, batteries as energy storage device, single phase bipolar PWM full bridge inverter as DC-AC inverter and AC loads. Below shows the block diagram for the system.

Boost Converter:
The conventional boost converter which could be used in many power electronic applications, for example in regulated DC power supplies, and in photovoltaic systems. The value to stepping up a low DC input voltage to higher DC output voltage of desired load.

Single Phase Bipolar PWM Full Bridge Inverter:
The Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) is a technique which is characterized by the generation of constant amplitude pulse by modulating the pulse duration by modulating the duty cycle. An inverter is a circuit which converts a dc power into an ac power at desired output voltage and frequency.
