SOCW 6311 Week 11 Post 1 Responses
Respond to colleagues by offering critiques of their analyses. Identify strengths in their analyses and strategies for presenting evaluation results to others. Identify ways your colleagues might improve their presentations. Identify potential needs or questions of the audience that they may not have considered. Provide an additional strategy for overcoming the obstacles or challenges in communicating the content of the evaluation reports.

Post an analysis of how you would present the results of the evaluation to a group of social work colleagues.
This writer would present the results of the evaluation to a group of social work colleagues by inviting everyone to a large conference room, where there would be a light snack provided. As social workers, we all love to eat! This writer would start off the meeting with highlights from the program, including things that went well, while saving the things to improve on for later in the meeting. This writer would reiterate the goals for the outcomes so that everyone is familiar and on the same page. This writer would highlight key components that contributed to any progression made or outcomes achieved. Having a visual is important, so perhaps having the data displayed on PowerPoint would be another angle this writer would take.
Identify the background information that you think they would need and the key message of your presentation.
Background information would consist of why we started this program, what the ideal goal was, who the targeted population was, what we put in place to achieve the goals, when we started the implementation of this program, and where the services were taking place, including, who was responsible for the implementation of the services, and how often they were taking place.
Explain the strategies that you might use to meet your colleagues interests and goals. Identify questions that your colleagues might have and what their reactions might be.
To meet the colleagues interests and goals, this writer would highlight any additional funding that was received due to the outcomes of the program, while also highlighting each contributors contribution to the success of the program. This writer would discuss the progress that was made and how each team member or staff has assisted in reaching the goals. This writer would also hone in on the evaluation of the process, as this alone will allow for the colleagues and all those involved to see the link between the process and the outcome, which in return allows for everyone to view both the success and the areas of improvement during the process, which has led to the program outcome (Law & Shek, 2011).

Program evaluation continues even after finding the results. The process continues to the phase of sharing the results of the program with different stakeholders. In sharing my evaluation results with social work colleagues, I would identify the information needs and the vital information to the colleagues. It is crucial to make sure that the information is beneficial and meets the goals and interests of my colleagues. The second strategy is to communicate appropriately and present the results through a presentation or providing a report. After identifying the appropriate medium and the information needs, I would formulate a report of the evaluation results and arrange the date and location to provide the presentation (Wright, 2016). Some questions that my colleagues may have may include:
· Where were the objectives of the evaluation achieved?
· What evidence shows the effectiveness of the program?
