This module requires students to research a real and current human resource issue within a workplace of their choice. A written report comprising 4000 words will outline the process and outcomes of the research project and will be submitted in the form of referenced academic report. The fundamental purpose of the report is to demonstrate how academic theories and writing can be utilised to inform workplace practice.
  
The word count must be stated on the front page of your assignment. Summarising and compressing the information in your assignment into the word limit is one of the skills that students are expected to acquire, and demonstrate as part of the assignment writing process. 
The word limit is set as 4,000 words. You may go plus or minus 10%. If this is exceeded then a penalty may be applied. A guidance to help you is included in the structure table above.
