C. Aiding the homeless has been attempted on multiple occasions but have ultimately failed numerously. 1. Most of the time homeless people get arrested and taken to jail. They suspect that this will help clean them up or help them reevaluate their life. Instead when they are let out, they remain on the streets. 2. Another situation that was occurring was letting the homeless sleep in parking lots overnight (“Wilcox’). This is still not a humane way to live and isn’t even really a solution. 3. My solution differs from these solutions because it is a permanent solution rather than a temporary one. It is more cost efficient and actually targets the problem rather than just suppressing it.
