Identify and define the differences between civil liberties and civil rights

Identify and define the differences between civil liberties and civil rights

Please respond to all of the prompts below. For each prompt, construct a 2 page, double-spaced, 10-12 point font, normal one inch margins with page numbers, one essay for each prompt. Please remember to answer all parts of the question. Remember to provide analysis and examples as well as correct information, not personal opinions. Please submit all essays in one document and upload your answer document to the dropbox. With all essays in one document (one file), your total document should be 8-12 pages of content in length. Include a works cited page (this page will not be counted towards the total page count as stated above.) A lack of both in text citations (as parenthetical citations or as footnotes) and a works cited page constitutes plagiarism, and as such, papers which do not include both forms of citations will not receive any credit. Do not paste your essay into the comment box on the submission page. Please submit your document as a .doc or .docx file; any other file type will not be accepted by the dropbox and so it will not be accepted by me. Only one submission will be accepted per student. Only submissions correctly submitted will be graded.
YOU MAY NOT COMPLETE THIS EXAM IN A GROUP. YOU MAY ONLY USE ANY REPUTABLE SOURCE (including but not limited to your textbook, PowerPoints, anything from the internet, and anything else posted on D2L).
IF YOU QUOTE OR PARAPHRASE CONTENT, YOU MUST CITE IT. PLEASE SET UP YOUR CITATIONS CORRECTLY, IN A FORMAT THAT IS COMFORTABLE TO YOU, USING EITHER FOOTNOTES OR IN-TEXT (PARENTHETICAL) CITATIONS.
ESSAYS WITHOUT BOTH CORRECT IN TEXT CITATIONS AND A WORKS CITED PAGE WILL NOT BE GRADED.

3. Explain, with examples, how social policy moves through the stages of the policy making process. Discuss the content of these stages in terms of how policies develop and the political process of enacting social policy. Give an original example of a social policy as it goes through the stages. In your response, address the roles of the president and Congress social policy making. The presidency, Congress, and the federal courts all influence foreign policy making; discuss how the different institutions are more influential at different points of the policy making process and provide examples that support your analysis. How do each of the branches check one another, from an oversight standpoint, either before or after a policy is implemented? Use examples to illustrate your argument.
