For example, main problems that minimum wage policy seeks to combat is labor costs are increased, lack of funds to cover payroll for the businesses which may lead to loss of jobs and although minimum wage may increase the prices of living will increase as well. Resolution Plan Ideologies and values may include that influences the public and policy makers opinions of this policy formation and reform may think that the ripple effect on other employees that make the same amount as the increased minimum wage but have been there much longer and maintain a good work ethic for the same amount of pay. Although, this may increase the performance and motivation for employees to work or return to work the companies or businesses suffer especially if they are limited payroll funding. The Raise the Wage Act would disproportionately help those in poverty or close to it. Two-thirds (67.3 percent) of the working poor in America would receive a pay increase if the minimum wage were raised to $15 by 2024. Benefits Some benefits that are gained through the minimum wage increase helps the working families to maintain price inflation, may assist the economy by spending more money, and decrease unemployment and tax revenues are increased with higher wages.
