Topic: Consider what your thoughts are on relational youth ministry. Create an argument for or against putting coaches in the lives of teenagers. What are some strengths and weaknesses for the ministry involved in initiating these relationships? What guidelines should there be in these coaching relationships? Submit your thread no later than 11:59 p.m. (ET) on Wednesday of Module/Week 8. Then, reply to at least 2 other classmates’ threads no later than 11:59 p.m. (ET) on Friday of the same module/week.

If you have a youth group of ten students, all the same gender as you, you might be able to relate to all of them and be what they need as a leader. But even then, there will be a variety of personalities, some of whom you will not relate to as well. We simply need other people helping us with our groups to meet the needs of all our students. Share practical ideas about the value or drawbacks of using coaches and what we should expect of these leaders.

I will not be making a second post (PROFESSOR RESPONSE) this week. Remember, your initial post is due by Wednesday night and your responses (and papers) are due by Friday night.
