Everyone has a different idea of what wealth is. If wealth was equally distributed in the American society, there would be significant effects on education, healthcare and employment. Firstly, it would result in higher college attainment rates which means more people would enroll and pursue college education. Secondly, greater wealth would boost access to healthcare and healthcare facilities. According to Kuhn et al. (2020), it means the American society would experience better health outcomes like higher life expectancy. Finally, equal distribution of wealth would increase economic growth and employment opportunities. Equal distribution will also give great boost to economy of America as well as individuals lifestyle as well.

Hello Class,
Class is a strong stratification principle in the United States. The upper class is different from the power elite group as the upper class is known as the wealthiest while the power elite is the most powerful. Therefore, stratification by use of class affects the voter turnout where voters vote for the power elite group compared to the upper class. In addition, class is a powerful stratification principle that should be used in grouping people in society. The upper class is the wealthiest according to the economic status in the United States. Richard Fuld, the chief of Lehman Brothers, was among the people who were termed to be the wealthiest. Fuld earned a forty-five million salary, and despite his company’s deterioration, he received half a million as a compensation fee (Getty & Mills, 2021). Celebrities such as Justin Bieber earned more than fifty million in the year 2012. In the United States, all the celebrities are termed to be wealthiest and most powerful and they are awarded due to superb performance in entertainment industry (Howard University, 2014). The entertainment, film, and music sectors are believed to comprise highly recognized globally due to their fame. Most former political officers gain wealth as a result of their previous position in the government. For instance, President Ronald Reagan gained two million shillings after giving a speech in Japan for two-twenty minutes (Getty & Mills, 2021). Unfortunately, grouping people according to wealth leads to inequalities in society. For example, In the United States, the poor are not considered when allocating jobs in the government sectors and government hierarchy positions (Ferejohn, 2012). Therefore, class is a powerful stratification principle that groups people according to their economic status and powerfulness.
