Simultaneously, the Special Diabetes Program for Type 1 Diabetes (SDP) was instituted in response to the developmental prospects in type 1 diabetes research. Collectively, these initiatives have evolved into the most comprehensive, strategic, and beneficial endeavor on a national level to address diabetes and its associated complications.
