Interpersonal skills, which are divided into four categories: verbal, listening, written, and nonverbal communication, can be a stimulus for action. In fact, as you learn how to effectively communicate and connect with employees and customers, being a good listener could pave the path to a prosperous future. Listening necessitates a person’s active participation. Receiving, attention to, building meaning from, and responding to spoken and/or nonverbal stimuli is the psychological process. (Typigi, 2013). Today, the skill of listening is undervalued because we are surrounded by noise that obscures the meaning of what we are attempting to communicate. As the channel of our communication grew through the usage of social media, these impediments include cultural and linguistic disparities.
