OVERVIEW
You will complete a full-sentence outline for the second part of the Research Project. The outline
must include a thesis statement, the research question(s)/issues being answered/addressed, how
much space will be allotted for each section of the paper, and a preliminary reference list of at
least 10 scholarly sources (that are less than 5 years old).
INSTRUCTIONS
The full sentence outline format is essentially the same as the alphanumeric outline. The main
difference (as the title suggests) is that full sentences are required at each level of the outline.
This outline is most often used when preparing a traditional essay.
Remember: for every I, A, 1, there must be a corresponding II, B, or 2 respectively and so forth.
In other words, you should not have just one point to a section level of an outline. There must
always be at least 2 points to each section/level. Also, be sure to include the APA formatted
citations. DO NOT use direct quotes for your sentences. Paraphrase and cite appropriately.
Include an APA formatted reference page.

The healthcare industry is constantly evolving. Most health care organizations are among the
largest employers in their community and the demand for workers is projected to outpace supply
on a national scale. The fundamental field of human resources is impacted by shifting
demographics, new technologies, and the growing complexity of accreditation demands and
state/federal regulations. The ultimate goal of healthcare human resource management is to
leverage human capital resources in an effort to provide efficient and effective value to patients
