All in all while I would say this class was difficult and different from what Im used to, I enjoyed learning about World History. The digital materials were much easier and preferable to me than an in-person adaptation of this class. Ive never had a class with discussion posts every week/other week such as in this class and it was definitely hard to get used to. My preferred classes are usually just learning and quizzes checking learning, rather than writing a lot. Even so, I think all the writing made me improve in essay writing as well as take in the information better. The WOW lessons were definitely my favorite assignments in this course as I always enjoy researching into more obscure parts of History that I personally find enjoying. I would say the single most surprising thing that Ive learned is that every society learned to create pottery somewhat separately of each other, it seems like pottery is just something inherently human. From the Middle East to North America, every early civilization learned to create pottery and art and I find that fascinating and inspiring about humanity. I may not enjoy History a lot but World History as a whole makes me excited to learn about the past and excited for what will come to be History in future centuries.

This class was a very interesting class to take for a ten week course. It was a struggle for me because i did not really know my teachers unlike when i was taking my college courses.It was also a struggle at first to understand and realize what the teachers needed me to do because i was kind of brought to reality when the class was coming to a end and i needed to get my grades up fast. Even though i had a hard time with catching up i have a really nice time writing about wonders of the world. This is because one i got a good grade and i worked really hard on writing it. I spent a lot of time and hard work on that essay. As this class was coming to a end i just want to say i really learned a lot about history and i want to say thank you.

This course has been both fun and challenging, with many very fun implementations of the assignments, but I believe that it is the format of online learning which does not do the course any sense of adequate justice. I feel like even though I was keeping up with the materials, I have not been able to truly retain much of the information I have learned. Partially I think this is because throughout the majority of the course I have struggled to access the library resources that enrich our learning. Furthermore, I also found that at times the course load, I.E, having 3 written discussion assignments and an Essay in the same week as 5 other courses doing the same thing. I don’t think this is much at the fault of the professor as much as it is just a displacement I struggle with as an online learner who has to do school online so that they can work.
