This may allow blood to pool in either the right or left atrium. Use your knowledge of the circulatory system to predict
a) if a clot forms in the right atrium, where may that clot become lodged? Explain.
b) if a clot forms in the left atrium, where may that clot become lodged? Explain
c) will atrial fibrillation be a particular challenge to a patient with atherosclerosis? Explain.
