Robotic Application and Career Development
As we have learned over the last eight modules, robotic systems are highly complex designs featuring multiple methods of user interaction, remote environmental interaction and manipulation, data capture, and processing. It takes the team work and collaborative contributions of multiple roles (i.e., designers, testers, business developers, program management, and operators) to create and field such systems. The focus of this course was placed on the engineering and design aspects of robotic development to provide you with a comprehensive understanding of what the systems are, how they are designed, and their advantages/limitations.
By providing you with visibility and insight into these areas, it is anticipated that you will better understand how such systems can best be used or applied and how they can be modified to suit missions/tasks in the future. Discuss how or where you might apply knowledge and experience gained in this course, specifically in which potential career fields or jobs might this information have usability and how would it be applicable. What areas of educational focus should be considered in the future to further expand the applicability and usefulness to build both experience and knowledge?
You are expected to provide a response of at least 300 words.
