Youve watched the lecture this week and youre probably scratching your head right now. For most of you, I image that you have no concept of the workforce before technology was fully integrated to practically every aspect of it. There has indeed been steady growth of technological improvement and expansion in todays business environment. But, has it all been good? Good for the business, good for the employee, or even good for the consumer?
Dr. LeClaire has introduced several interesting topics this week in his lecture. For the Discussion, Id like for you to pick one of these topics and expand on it using your own knowledge and experiences. For example, what do you think about his instruction to begin with the customer and work back in your technology planning? What about sabotaging technology projects and its justifications? What impact has increase reliance upon technology had upon workforce education and performance expectations from management?
Now one more thing. For ALL students, share with your peers where you think technology is going in the future workplace? Pick an upcoming trend and tell us why you think this trend will score or fail. Tell us why you picked it and why you think its direction is headed up or down.
